Amazing DVD slideshow creation software.
In for making that perfect slideshow? I got the perfect software for you! Wondershare's DVD Slideshow Builder. When I opened the program at first, I wasn't sure what to expect of it, but I am not disappointed.
The graphics make for a very professional feel. The software has an extremely organized layout, with tabs for organizing, personalizing, and creating. The organize tab is where you upload your pictures and organize the order of your slideshows (This supports multiple slideshows at a time). The pictures you add are numbered for your convenience.
I was especially impressed with the editing properties that can be applied to the pictures. If you don't prefer to auto repair the photo, you can manually change the hue, saturation, brightness, and contrast. You can flip the photo or rotate it. It provides basic presets for cropping ratios, or you can manually crop your image (the old and new pixel dimensions are shown). The text effects used here and throughout the program are good quality and give you decent options for your text. There is a red-eye tool, as well as a bundle of effects you can apply to your image, such as sharpening, blurring, tinting, embossing, or applying a flash.
Now for the Personalize tab, which has a similar layout to standard movie-making software with a timeline/storyboard, collections, and preview sections. In the collections section, there are five separate options -- style (of presenting your photos), clip-art, effect, pre-audio, and intro/credit. The style category consists of a wide selection of professional slideshow effects. I was quite impressed with the selection! There are some extra-special effects only useable after a separate purchase per pack (I was originally thinking they were pricey, but the selection in the packs is awesome).
Next is the clip-art, which consists of a nice selection of some stationary objects and quite a few moving objects to apply to your slideshow. The effects are great, including snowflakes or petals falling from the sky (the selection isn't bad either). The pre-audio is 53 sound effects that are great quality. Lastly, the intro/credit is a set of intro and credit pieces for your video for which you can add text.
The last tab doesn't have fewer options than the others. In the create tab, you can burn your slideshow to a DVD and create a menu with the seemingly unending options. You can instead save to your computer, using any of the common (and uncommon) video file types--each with their options for quality and size. You can save it to YouTube, or share it on Facebook or Twitter. I love the fact that you can save it to your devices, whether it be the Apple iPad, iPod, or iPhone, or the Blackberry, Android, Nokia, or most other devices!
Wondershare's DVD Slideshow Builder is a masterpiece of a program, with awesome features and options, yet simple enough for the most inexperienced of users. I am seriously impressed and give it a high recommendation!
